Other adventures this season will include a robot replica Gabby-bot running amok, an alien friend who turns into a "Predator" when she becomes emotional, and a quest to recover Principal Swift's home after it's shrunken down to the size of a dollhouse by an extraterrestrial prankster. The season picks up immediately after a cliffhanger with Gabby's mom, Dina, on the verge of learning Gabby's secret, which the intrepid teen will have to stop in order to avoid catastrophic outcomes. This team of unlikely heroes must quickly learn to work together under dire circumstances in order to save their school, and ultimately the world, from mass destruction.In season two, a resourceful and courageous Gabby faces even bigger challenges as she continues to protect her alien charges while also navigating the everyday emotional rollercoaster of middle school. When another monster suddenly begins to attack Bay City High, Ryan recruits his two best friends and older brother to help him operate the robot's high-tech defense system while he pilots MECH-X4. His superpower mysteriously awakens a 150-foot robot known as MECH-X4 and Ryan can command its every move. Ryan Walker, a freshman at Bay City High, discovers he is a "technopath" with the extraordinary ability to control technology with his mind. 
The announcement was made today by Adam Bonnett, executive vice president, Original Programming, Disney Channels Worldwide. Production for the second season of "MECH X4" begins later this month. Beginning FRIDAY, OCTOBER 28, a preview episode debuts on multiple platforms including the Disney XD App, Disney XD VOD and the Disney XD YouTube Channel.
